LIfe Threw My Eyes 365

Well sure has been a while huh! So HELLO family! I've sent many of you an email about the same subject, but Im just so excited and intreaged by all of this. Since Im home, and Jason says its stupied for me get a job (even after begging..whats wrong with him?), I get quite bored with my days. You all know that Ive grown very fond of photography, or just taking pictures in general. I also absolutly LOVE editing photos, and making collages and such. I take great pride in the things I have taken, and the things I have created as I do feel that I am rather good at it. Not pro by any means, but I think Im good. I can safely say nothing is new with us here in California. Same ol same ol. The only thing that's new is that we went to Disneyland. FOR FREE! My neighbor works there and he gets tickets for free, so one day Jason got the day off (not by choice) so I asked if we could go and he said yes! It was an amazing day. Here are some pictures!

It truely is the most happiest place on earth! I believe its magical! I only wish I could have shared it with most of you!

Things back home are sure different. I miss everyone, and I do hope to see you all soon. So anyways onto the project.

I design at a site called VIP Signatures. A lady named Jen brought this project to us.

People will often say that their whole lives flashed before their eyes after they experienced a traumatic event. Perhaps it’s a bit morbid, but we think that sounds pretty incredible. When Taylor McKnight started taking a photo a day on January 1st, 2004, he never imagined the project would not only serve as a way to remember a year, but also help him understand what was important to him in his life.Whether it was his relationships, his career, or his fashion sense, recording a photo a day for a whole year left him with a rich visual history of his life. And it made him a better photographer to boot! Now that he’s in the middle of doing it for a second time, we asked Taylor to write about it for us. Read on for our tutorial on how and why to create your own daily photographic history.Project 365: How to Create a Daily Photographic History www.photojojo.com/content/tutorials/project-365-take-a-photo-a-day/ Why do it?Taking a photo a day is a big undertaking with big payoffs. Here are just a few reasons why you should consider doing it:Imagine being able to look back at any day of your year and recall what you did, who you met, what you learned… (Often we find it hard to remember what we did just yesterday or even last night, let alone a whole year ago!)Your year-long photo album will be an amazing way to document your travels and accomplishments, your haircuts and relationships. Time moves surprisingly fast.

Happy Fall Y'all

Can I say that absolutly nothing is new with us! Tyler's been doing better in school, he's been gettin 100% on both his math and spelling tests each friday. The twins have learned that biting hurts one another, so they are biting each other everywhere! Even the face! I had to get them some new tennis shoes. The ones they had, they would scream at me when I put them on, no wonder, they were 2 sizes too small! So now they have some adorable dora tennie shoes! Too cute. Love target! Tyler had to get some news ones as well. My neighbor brought over a kitten yesterday, and being the huge softy that I am for animals .. of course said yes. Im a little worried though because well, im going to have to take it to the vet, but its been here for 24hrs now and hasn't gone potty. Not even on the floor. So im worried that it may have tape worms or worms in general. Boy Jason will love that one. He'll make me drop it off on a dark road somewhere. I can't do that. So anyways, yep, nothing really new. Same ol same ol. We hope you all have a safe and happy halloween!

Oh we got a kitten. .. her name is Baby lol cause that's what the twins call her. Baby kitty. I think its a girl, but I thought Shady was a girl too lol. The kids just adore her. Im super allergic to her though. My neighbor almost hit the poor thing! So he got out and picked her up, went door to door asking if it was anyones, and he couldn't find an owner. He brought it home, but his cats went bolistic. He was just about to call the pound when he came next door to us, with her in his hands. Do you want a kitten, he says. I took ONE look at that sweet little face, and said Oh my lord YES. I have such a hard time saying no! Expecially to an animal in need. I've made up some flyers just to make sure that it is no ones little kitten. And need to call a vet to make sure it gets all its shots ect. She's really cute though! Here she is!

Twinkle Twinkle

So I've been trying to do this update thing for 3 days now ha. I have lots to tell you! How was your 4th? We had a pretty good one. It started at 8am. Jason had off, and when he woke up and walked out of the bedroom that early fully dressed, I knew he had to leave. But he didn't, he was ready to go to the beach for the in tire day. But I didn't know that yet. We get everyone dressed, and pack our bag because I knew we were going to end up at the beach eventually. So we are all in the car and out the door at 9:30am. I thought we were going to go to the parade here in town. But we went to Walmart, well only Jason went in. We he came back out and we left, he passed the exit to go watch the parade so I thought, maybe we were going to go to another parade so I didn't say anything. Finally almost to orange county, I ask, where are you going? He says to the beach. So I kinda freaked out a bit. I have sun screen, but there's no way that I can sit in the sun for that long and not walk a way a lobster. I wish I had said something earlier to him about where he was going. So we stopped at another walmart and got a beach umbrella, and that was good, it kept the kids and I out of the sun completely. They had a lot of fun, and Savannah ... well she doesn't like the ocean touching her or the sand for that matter. Cheyenne well .. she's a fish just like Tyler. Finally after hours of watching her brother and her sister playing in the sand and having tons of fun, Savannah got up of the safe zone (the towels) and played in the sand. ONLY in one spot though ha ha she didn't move to any other spot. She sat there and made a mound with sand. The fire works were awesome! The twins were both just in awment of them. I thought for sure Savannah would freak out but she was yaying them. She really loved them. Cheyenne watched them, but I think she wanted to just play in the sand. silly girl! Tyler just loves everything. There were two boys who where sitting behind us, and they kept talking, it was really bothering Tyler. He turned around and said "Can you shush and watch the fire works please!" I giggled a little bit and said Tyler, you shush and watch the fire works ha ha. That was our 4th. The twins were asleep by the time we got back to the car and Tyler was asleep before moving the car into drive. It was a long day, but a great family day.

So The twins are highly into Dora the explore. Savannah will scream with excitement any time she See's Dora, and if its on T.V. watch out, and you had BETTER not change that channel! Or she will cry and cry and cry until its back on! Well .. they have been in there converted cribs for a while now. And they are excellent for a toddler bed. A little high off the ground but they never fell out, and were ok in them. HOWEVER ... they still have the high sides and the high back to it. So my girls .. they think they are monkeys. And they climb up the sides and the backs, and have even gotten there legs stuck inside the rails while climbing up them. All while they are suppose to be napping. So I have been watching craig's list for Dora toddler beds. They are only $50 in the store brand new (kinda cheap set up as well) but when you have twins, a son, and two step daughters, and only one parent working in the house; everything on a strict budget. I've seen many on Craigslist but they wanted 40 bucks for it. Come on! This is an online garage sale. WELL .. I found one down by where Jason works for $30 but it came with a mattress (which we didn't need, but took because of the deal and the quality of the mattress), the Dora bed, and the Dora bedding set all for the $30 bucks! The Dora bedding set is $40 in the store! So I thought darn that's a good deal! Jason picked it up and brought it home, but we were unable to set it up because only having one they would fight and that's not fair. So he thought that I was going to bug him until we got another one. I told him no, no need to worry about that unless I find another deal like that one! And I didn't bug him either. I know the concept of money and not having any HA! So last night, Im making home made sloppy joes, and he starts freaking out .. Aimee COME HERE .. he found another bed. But they wanted $30 for just the bed. I said that's not a very good deal Jas. Well, he sent the dude an email anyways. I got a reply this morning, and called Jason to tell him. Well he went to look at the bed and came home with it, but not just that, he also came home with a wooden Dora toy box! FOR THE $30 bucks! That's what I call a bargain! Just the bed alone .. not a bargain ... bed plus wooden toy box .. bargain! So we got two beds, one bedding set, and a toy box for $60 dollars! If we would have bought them in the store, it would have been around $200.00!!! We set up the beds and took down the cribs today as soon as he got home. And well .. the twins kind of looked at each other like I'll get up there if you get up there HA HA so Jason picks up Savannah and lays her down, the Cheyenne just climbed up on her own. They really liked there beds, but didn't nap today! So they are extremely crabby and tired and driving mommy a little nuts! I sure hope bed time sure isn't like nap time! Or I'll put the cribs back up teehee .. nah .. im sure its just something new and it will take some getting use to. Just have to have the patents.

Well Kailey and Tylers birthday is coming upon us rather quickly isn't it! Kailey's is the 4th and Tyler's is the 10th! Tyler wants a spongebob bedding set including a new pillow and a spongebob lamp. The kid doesn't ask for much, but when he does holly cow its expensive. So starts my craiglist watching again haha! I have no idea what Kailey wants. Maybe one of you could help me out with that! Tyler starts school August 13th, so I don't think he will be getting that spongebob bedding set from us. Will be school clothes. Which my poor son is lacking in the clothes department rather badly. He's really sprouted up ward! He wears a 7 shirt and I bought him size 5 pants last year for school and they still fit around his 2t waist ha but not his length. He's so tiny around his waist! So Im no sure what Im going to do with him. Im sure he will have to go shopping with me to try everything on, and probably have to buy things long so it will fit him all year this time! And the poor kid is still in 3t shorts. They are so tight on him, I feel so badly for him. What do you do, can't afford clothes. But im watching a few things and watch for garage sales near us. Not many boy clothes though. Bummer. Other than that, Tyler is having issues with jealousy. He's a great son and an excellent helper to me, but he doesn't like to share anything, or mom for that matter. I don't know why all of a sudden this came on, but I hope its just a stage!

Ok so onto the Twinkle Twinkle. Im teaching the girls how to sing twinkle twinkle little star. Savannah loves to sing, and Cheyenne, enjoys it. So I leave you now from my extremely long update with Savannah singing Twinkle Twinkle little star to everyone! Have a wonderful week and weekend!

Little Update

I'm so sorry I haven't updated anyone in a while. Things have been so crazy around here! Between the twins birthday and Tyler's friends and school, I haven't had much time. So here goes on our update.

Well I think the terrable twos are settleing in for Ms. Cheyenne. She wants what she wants and she doesn't like it any other way. She's hitting not only mom, but everyone in her path when she doesn't get her way. Lets start with there birthday shall we?

This was the first time since Tyler was a year old that I actually didn't make a cake. And Im rather upset that I bought one instead of makeing one. Jason and Tyler loved it, however, I thought that it was pretty nasty, the twins ate it, but didn't like the frosting. The cake part was ok, but the frosting was gross. It was a very cute princess cake. I wrote down the names for the woman to put on the cake for the girls, and she miss spelt Savannah's name, she left out the H. So I was upset about that as well, but didn't notice it untill we were already home. Well, on there birthday, Jason didn't get home untill 7:30 and so it was too late to take the kids to Chucky Cheese as we had planned. We got stuck talking with our neighbors untill around 8-8:30 so we didn't even leave the house till then. We decided that we could just go threw the drive threw at Wendy's which was right next to Target where we were going to go to get them a present. My little Tyler, he's so sentamental like his mother, he was so upset that we were not going to Chucky Cheese, because tomorrow wasn't there birthday. But he got over it ha-ha. SO Jason says lets go to Target first. I said are you sure? Yup, so Ok you don't argue with that man, cause you wont win, so we go to Target first. I got Savannah out of the car, and he's already walking up to the doors. I yelled don't you want the stroller? Nope I want them to pick out there gifts. Uhhh Ok (thinking in my head you dummy!) We get to the toys, and Cheyenne finds a bike that she wanted. But she was too little for it, so when Jason pulled her off of it, what do you think happend? OH SHE FREAKED! So now he wants ME to take care of her, Uhhhh NOPE you didn't want to bring the stroller in YOU take care of her!! We FINNALLY found them a Dora dolly and Dora ride on cars and some bubbles. We FINNALLY leave, and go over to Wendys. As Im in the drive threw already, Jason says Crap, I only have a hundred. So I ask the speaker dude, can you break a hundred? (its about 9:30p.m. now) NOPE, so I had to BACK OUT of the drive therw GRRRRRrr....THANKFULLY, Chick Fil A could break the hundred, BUT Chick Fill A is so much more expensive as they don't have a dollar menu! Well Jason doesn't want anyone eating in the car, which I can understand, because I've seen the durango!! Anyways, we didn't get home untill after 10pm. Finnally ate, and then the kids had to go straight to bed, so no cake even. So all in all, it was kinda an upsetting day because we didn't really get to celebrate there 2nd birthday on there birthday. But the next day (Sunday) we did go to Chucky Cheese, and we did have birthday cake, and we did have ice cream so it was nice. And on Monday we got to go to Walmart and get them some new clothes in which they picked out some very cute flip flop sandles (for only 5bucks too!) and adorable Dora dresses!

So while at Walmart, my little COOL GIRLS got themselves a pair of hot pink and hot yellow sunglasses, and they think that they are just way too cool! They are really cutie pies arent they! All three of them are getting just so big. Tyler will be 7 in a little over 2 short months! 7!! I just can't believe that! Boy is he ever a little California dude! He doesn't remember living back home at all. The first house he remembers living in was the blue house that the twins were born in, Soco died in, and he remembers Aunt Sandy staying with us. But I suppose he did just turn 4 when we moved here. He has been doing very well in school except, he is have a little bit of dislexiah going on. He writes his 9, 5's and P's backwards, so we are working on that with him. He is able to read me many of his Dr. Suse books, though some words he needs help with, but really, some words I need help with Ha-Ha!

Last Friday he went on his first field trip to Amy's Farm! It was over 100 degrees here that day, and so they ended up comeing back to school early and watched a movie. He said that he got to feed a baby cow by a huge bottle, and he got to pet a baby pig, and he seen chickens eggs. He said that he had alot of fun, and Im glad that he did! His first schedualed trip was cancelled because of the wild fires that were going on. I had to watch him stand in line and had to watch him get onto the bus. You know, it was his first time, I couldn't miss something of my son's firsts. He makes me so proud. Tomorrow his school is haveing an open house. (his school irritates me though) You had to buy tickets in order to go, and here is the little boy whom wants to show you his class room, and all the things he's made, and the tad poles and the butterflys in there cacoons. How do you tell him, no, we can't buy tickets? Well he begged his daddy to come. Daddy let us buy tickets to go. 5 dollars a person! I only got 4 thinking that Jason wont be home in time, but if he is, they will just have to deal with my twins going as one! I just think that's out ragiouse that they charge 5 dollars per person to go to a SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE! They like charging you money this school does I tell you what! But Tyler loves it, and he has made many friends, and so its going to be hard to move him away from here next year. But its just to far for Jason to travel and with gas being as expensive as it is, being closer to his work, we could probably afford to pay rent!

I wanted to take some time and thank Grandma Gloria for sending the twins birthday cards, and birthday money, as well as another card for Jason and I. We apprechiate that, and we both enjoy reading your letters! I am sorry for not getting back to you, I will sit down tonight and write back to you!

I also wanted to thank Mom for makeing the twins such beautiful birthday cards! They are so adorable! As well as a thank you to Aunt Linda for makeing them some new blankies! In which they ADORE! Now, they need both blankies to sleep with ha-ha!

And last but NOT least, I want to thank Kathy for the birthday gift cards, and I can't even thank you enough for the wagon! The twins absolutly love the wagon! The love to get in it, they even buckle themselves! The just love to go bye bye in there wagon. Its nice to get them out of there stroller, seperated so there not fighting! They sit back and relax, they bring there cupies and they just love it! I have to get a new battery for my camera so I can get some shots of them in it!

WOW so ok, I don't think this was such a LITTLE update ha ha ha ... sorry. But I must go and get Tyler from school now. He has a friend comeing over after school today. YIKES! They play very well, but man, it gets hetic with 4 kids here!! Ok, well I hope all is well with everyone, and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week, and a beautiful weekend!

Love ya

The Twins Gift from Tiffany :)
